Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Cost Estimator to join our team and play a key role in delivering successful projects across the signage, manufacturing, and fabrication sectors.
In this role, you’ll work closely with sales teams, project engineers, and other departments to prepare accurate estimates, develop competitive bids, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. If you have a strong technical background and enjoy problem-solving, we’d love to hear from you.
Experience Required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cost estimation, project costing, or estimation engineering.
- Experience in the signage, manufacturing, or fabrication industry will be highly preferred.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
What You’ll Be Doing
- Evaluate and prepare cost estimates for daily inquiries received from sales and project engineering teams.
- Review project requirements and calculate costs based on fit-for-purpose solutions.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and project specifications.
- Estimate costs for materials, labour, equipment, and other project requirements.
- Prepare quotations, bids, and tender submissions for signage and display projects.
- Work closely with engineers, project managers, and other departments to resolve technical and commercial matters.
- Develop project budgets and ensure cost estimates support project profitability.
- Prepare detailed project plans that meet client specifications and timelines.
- Manage multiple estimates simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
- Support project teams with commercial and technical information throughout the project lifecycle.
