Full-Time Accountant Needed | Strong Knowledge in VAT and Accounting Systems

We’re on the lookout for a reliable and detail-focused Accountant to join our team. In this role, you’ll be handling day-to-day accounting tasks, supporting financial reporting, and making sure everything is aligned with local tax regulations. You’ll also work closely with internal teams to keep financial processes smooth and efficient.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Managing daily accounting tasks, including bookkeeping and data entry
- Preparing financial reports such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow reports
- Taking care of VAT calculations, filings, and compliance
- Handling accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and follow-ups
- Reconciling bank statements and checking for discrepancies
- Maintaining the general ledger and recording journal entries accurately
- Assisting with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Supporting audits by organizing and providing necessary documents
- Keeping an eye on expenses, budgets, and financial performance
What We’re Looking For:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2 to 5 years of experience in accounting or similar roles
- Hands-on experience with Tally Prime accounting software
- Good understanding of VAT regulations and tax compliance
- Comfortable using MS Excel and other basic tools
- Ability to communicate clearly in English and Arabic
- Applicants must be from Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, or Egypt
Bonus If You Have:
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, or financial analysis
- Familiarity with ERP systems or advanced accounting tools
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
