Job Description
We’re looking for a dependable and well-organized Accounts & Operations Assistant to join our team and help with everyday accounting and operational tasks. If you enjoy working with numbers, keeping records in order, and supporting both office and factory operations, this role could be a great match for you.
You’ll be involved in daily accounting work while also coordinating closely with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to keep things running smoothly.
What You’ll Be Doing
Daily Responsibilities
- Create customer invoices using Soho Books
- Prepare delivery notes and receipt vouchers
- Enter supplier bills and record expenses
- Record customer payments and collections
- Follow up with customers on outstanding payments
- Manage petty cash and track daily expenses
- Keep accounting records accurate and up to date in Soho Books
Weekly Responsibilities
- Prepare purchase orders
- Coordinate with suppliers for materials and deliveries
- Update inventory and stock records
- Reconcile bank transactions
- Share customer and supplier statements
Monthly Responsibilities
- Prepare reports required for VAT filing
- Support payroll processing
- Assist with inventory reconciliation
- Generate basic financial reports (P&L, expenses, cash flow)
- Coordinate with the external accountant for month-end closing
What We’re Looking For
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in accounting or administration
- Background in trading, manufacturing, or small businesses is a plus
Key Skills
- Experience using Soho Books or similar accounting software
- Basic accounting knowledge (invoicing, bills, reconciliation)
- Good working knowledge of Excel
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Able to manage multiple tasks independently
- Comfortable working in a factory or operations environment
Language Skills
- English – required
- Arabic – preferred
