We are currently looking for an experienced Electrician who has strong experience working with diesel generators, air compressors, and heavy equipment. This position is open for local candidates with a transferable Iqama who are able to handle maintenance and troubleshooting work independently.
The company is looking for a technician who understands generator electrical systems and can diagnose and repair problems efficiently. Candidates who have previously worked with generator dealers or service providers will have an advantage.

About the Role
As an Electrician, your main responsibility will be to maintain and repair diesel generators and related electrical systems. You will diagnose faults, perform routine maintenance, and ensure that generators and equipment operate safely and efficiently.
The role also involves using laptops and diagnostic tools to identify technical issues in generator systems. You will prepare inspection reports and keep proper records of maintenance work carried out on equipment.
This position requires someone who is technically skilled, responsible, and able to work independently when handling equipment maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repair of diesel generator electrical systems
- Diagnose and fix electrical faults in generator systems
- Service and maintain air compressors and heavy equipment electrical components
- Carry out preventive maintenance and regular inspections
- Troubleshoot generator issues using diagnostic tools and laptops
- Work with generator engines such as CAT, Cummins, Perkins, and similar brands
- Inspect electrical wiring, control panels, and generator components
- Prepare inspection and maintenance reports
- Follow proper safety procedures and technical standards
- Maintain records of maintenance activities and equipment performance
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience working with diesel generators or heavy equipment
- Experience with generator engines such as CAT, Cummins, Perkins, or similar brands
- Preference will be given to candidates who have worked with authorized generator dealers
- Strong knowledge of generator electrical systems and troubleshooting
- Ability to use laptop-based diagnostic tools
- Ability to work independently and handle technical tasks
- Good communication skills in English
- Basic computer skills for writing reports and documentation
