Job Description
We are looking for a currently searching for an experienced Chief Accountant to join its finance team. We are looking for someone confident, practical, and hands-on — a professional who understands both accounting principles and the operational realities of the Ready-Mix industry.
If you have solid experience in financial reporting, cost control, ERP systems, and Ready-Mix production costing, and you are comfortable working in a fast-paced and demanding environment, this could be the right opportunity for you.
About the Role
As Chief Accountant, you will be fully responsible for managing the company’s accounting operations and ensuring accurate financial control across all departments. This role goes beyond routine bookkeeping — you will play a central role in monitoring production costs, analysing margins, supporting management decisions, and maintaining financial discipline.
The Ready-Mix industry requires precise cost tracking and operational awareness, so practical experience in this sector is essential.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Managing the complete accounting cycle and overseeing daily finance operations
- Preparing accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Monitoring production costs including raw materials, fuel, labor, and plant expenses
- Managing and maintaining Ready-Mix costing systems
- Performing cost analysis and identifying areas for improvement
- Ensuring compliance with Saudi financial regulations and company policies
- Working directly with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, or Oracle
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
- Supervising accounting staff and ensuring smooth workflow
- Coordinating with auditors and supporting audit processes
What We’re Looking For
- Less than 10 years of total accounting experience
- At least 2–3 years of experience specifically in the Ready-Mix industry
- Strong understanding of Ready-Mix costing systems and cost control
- Hands-on ERP experience (Microsoft Dynamics 365 / SAP / Oracle)
- Minimum 3 years of recent work experience in Saudi Arabia
- Strong personality with emotional intelligence and leadership presence
- Willingness to work in demanding conditions (6-day workweek)
- Excellent Excel skills and the ability to generate clear financial reports
- Strong English communication skills
