Full-Time Construction Lifting Supervisor – Site Safety and Operations
Job Description
We’re currently looking for an experienced and safety-minded Lifting Supervisor to join our construction team.
This role is perfect for someone who understands lifting operations, enjoys working on site, and takes pride in keeping people and projects safe. If you have hands-on experience supervising cranes and rigging teams and want to be part of active construction and industrial projects, we’d love to hear from you.
About the Role
As our Lifting Supervisor, you’ll take the lead on all lifting activities at site. You’ll work closely with crane operators, riggers, engineers, and site management to make sure every lift is carried out safely, correctly, and according to approved plans.
You’ll be involved from planning through execution — checking equipment, briefing teams, identifying risks, and making sure work moves forward smoothly. This is a practical, site-based role where your experience and safety awareness will make a real difference every day.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Supervising daily lifting operations on site
• Making sure all lifts follow approved lift plans and safety procedures
• Coordinating with crane operators, riggers, and site teams
• Leading toolbox talks and pre-lift safety briefings
• Inspecting lifting equipment and confirming valid certifications
• Spotting potential hazards and putting control measures in place
• Monitoring progress to ensure lifting work is completed safely and on time
• Keeping records of lifting activities and safety checks
• Reporting site updates and safety concerns to management
• Supporting complex lifts alongside engineers and supervisors
• Promoting a strong safety culture across the site
What We’re Looking For
• Diploma or relevant Lifting Supervisor certification
• Proven experience supervising lifting operations on construction or industrial sites
• Good knowledge of crane operations, rigging practices, and site safety procedures
• Confident leading teams and communicating clearly on site
• Strong focus on health and safety
• Able to work independently in a busy site environment
• Gulf experience is a plus
