Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and results-driven Sales Engineer to join our team in Saudi Arabia. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals who enjoy meeting clients, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering engineering solutions that make a real impact.
As a Sales Engineer, you will play a key role in expanding our customer base, managing client relationships, and driving business growth across industrial and engineering sectors. Experience in fabrication, steel gratings, industrial products, construction, manufacturing, or EPC projects will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
• Identify and approach new customers, contractors, consultants, EPC companies, and industrial clients across Saudi Arabia.
• Conduct regular customer meetings and site visits to understand project requirements and generate new business opportunities.
• Build long-term relationships with clients and maintain a strong network within the industry.
• Monitor market trends and identify upcoming projects and potential sales opportunities.
• Develop strategies to increase market presence and achieve business growth.
Sales & Customer Management
• Manage the entire sales process, from the initial enquiry and technical discussions to quotation preparation, negotiation, and successful order closure.
• Prepare and deliver professional presentations and product solutions tailored to customer requirements.
• Follow up on enquiries and quotations and convert opportunities into confirmed orders.
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and consistently achieve sales targets.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and provide excellent after-sales support.
Enquiry & Proposal Coordination
• Review customer enquiries, specifications, and project requirements.
• Coordinate closely with the estimation and engineering teams to prepare accurate technical and commercial proposals.
• Ensure quotations are submitted on time and meet customer expectations.
• Maintain proper records of enquiries, quotations, and customer interactions.
• Provide technical guidance and recommendations to customers whenever required.
Market Intelligence & Reporting
• Keep up to date with industry developments, market trends, and competitor activities.
• Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and business development updates for management.
• Identify new market segments and recommend strategies to improve sales performance and profitability.
• Represent the company professionally at meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities.
Candidate Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in technical sales, industrial sales, business development, or project sales.
• Previous experience in fabrication, steel gratings, industrial products, construction, manufacturing, or EPC environments is highly desirable.
• Experience in the Saudi Arabian market will be an added advantage.
• Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working independently.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and consistently deliver results.
• A valid driving licence and willingness to travel within Saudi Arabia will be beneficial.
