Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Estimation Engineer to join its growing team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on major Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, Water Treatment, Refinery, and Industrial Construction projects across Saudi Arabia.
The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in cost estimation, tender preparation, quantity take-offs, bid management, and project costing while ensuring competitive and accurate proposals for industrial projects.
What You’ll Be Doing
As an E&I Estimation Engineer, you will play a key role in preparing accurate and competitive project estimates. Your responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing tender documents, engineering drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Preparing quantity take-offs and detailed cost estimates for electrical and instrumentation works.
- Developing technical and commercial proposals for tender submissions.
- Coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and technical information.
- Working closely with engineering and procurement teams to ensure accurate project costing.
- Evaluating project risks, assumptions, and commercial considerations during the bidding process.
- Preparing material, manpower, and equipment estimates for industrial projects.
- Participating in bid clarifications and supporting the tender submission process.
- Maintaining estimation records and cost databases for future reference.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Estimator in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, Water, Refinery, EPC, or Industrial Construction projects.
- Proven experience in tendering, quantity take-offs, cost estimation, and bid preparation.
- Strong ability to read and understand engineering drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimation software.
- Ability to manage multiple tenders and work effectively under deadlines.
Preferred Experience
Candidates with experience in Saudi industrial projects, EPC environments, or knowledge of Saudi Aramco standards and specifications will have an added advantage.
