Job Description
We’re looking for an experienced Procurement & Purchasing Engineer to join our team in Riyadh. If you know the local market well, understand pricing for civil materials, and can confidently handle suppliers and purchasing, this could be a great fit for you.
This role is all about making sure the right materials are sourced at the right price and delivered on time to keep projects running smoothly.
About the Role
You’ll be handling day-to-day procurement activities for civil projects—working closely with suppliers, comparing prices, and ensuring materials are available when needed. Your knowledge of the Riyadh market and supplier network will play a big role in your success.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Sourcing construction materials, tools, and equipment from local suppliers
- Comparing prices and negotiating to get the best value
- Preparing purchase orders and handling supplier coordination
- Working with site teams to understand material requirements
- Tracking deliveries and making sure everything arrives on time
- Keeping records updated using ERP systems and Excel
- Building and maintaining good relationships with vendors
- Staying updated on current market prices and availability
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Riyadh (must have)
- Strong knowledge of civil material pricing and local market rates
- Good experience with Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with ERP systems
- Strong connections with local suppliers and market shops
- Valid driving license (required)
- Someone who is organized, practical, and good at negotiating
