Full-Time Contract Manager Opportunity – Major GCC Construction Project
Job Description
We are currently looking for an experienced Contract Manager / Contract Lead to join a major construction project in NEOM, Saudi Arabia. This opportunity is ideal for professionals who have extensive experience in construction contract management, commercial administration, and large-scale infrastructure or development projects in the GCC region.
The selected candidate will be responsible for managing all contractual and commercial aspects of the project, ensuring that project activities follow the agreed contract terms, project requirements, and industry standards.
This role requires someone who is confident in handling contract reviews, variations, claims, negotiations, and project documentation, while working closely with project teams, consultants, and contractors.
About the Role
As a Contract Manager, you will oversee the contractual side of the project from start to finish. Your role will focus on ensuring that all contract terms are followed correctly and that project activities remain aligned with the contractual agreements.
You will work closely with project managers, engineers, consultants, and contractors to review contracts, monitor performance, and address any contractual issues that may arise during the project.
The position requires someone who has strong knowledge of construction contracts, commercial management, and contract documentation, along with the ability to handle contract-related discussions and negotiations.
Key Responsibilities
Contract Management
- Manage and review construction contracts and project agreements
- Ensure that all project activities follow contract terms and project specifications
- Monitor contractor performance based on contractual requirements
- Provide guidance to the project team on contract interpretation
Claims and Variations
- Handle contract variations and change orders
- Review and evaluate project claims and contractual adjustments
- Support negotiations related to contract disputes or project changes
- Maintain proper documentation for contract modifications
Documentation and Compliance
- Maintain accurate contract records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with contract conditions and project procedures
- Prepare reports related to contract performance and project compliance
- Support project audits and contract reviews when required
Coordination with Project Teams
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, consultants, and contractors
- Participate in project meetings related to contract matters
- Support the project team in resolving contractual or commercial issues
- Ensure smooth communication regarding contract obligations
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 18 years of experience in contract management
- Proven experience working as a Contract Manager or Contract Lead
- Strong knowledge of construction contract administration and commercial management
- Experience working on large construction or infrastructure projects
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and coordination skills
