About the Role
As an Electrical Design Engineer, you’ll be responsible for preparing detailed electrical designs for low-current systems and supporting implementation on site. Your main focus will be security systems, ensuring all drawings, specifications, and installations meet project requirements and industry standards.
You’ll work closely with consultants, project managers, and site engineers, providing technical guidance throughout the design, installation, and commissioning stages. This role requires attention to detail, strong coordination skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare electrical design drawings and technical documents for low-current systems
- Design and support execution of security systems
- Coordinate with project and site teams during implementation
- Review shop drawings and material submittals
- Ensure designs comply with project specifications and applicable codes
- Provide technical support during installation and commissioning
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in design and execution of low-current systems
- Strong hands-on experience with security systems
- Consulting firm experience is an added advantage
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines
