Job Description
We’re looking for a capable and hands-on Electrical Engineer to join our team and support both plant maintenance and project work. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being involved on the ground, working with electrical and automation systems, and making sure everything runs safely and efficiently.

About the Role
As an Electrical Engineer, you’ll be responsible for keeping electrical and automation systems operating reliably while also supporting new projects and upgrades. You’ll work closely with senior engineers, project managers, maintenance teams, and vendors to deliver work on time, within budget, and in line with safety and quality standards.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing, testing, and improving electrical systems with a strong focus on safety and reliability
- Inspecting and analysing electrical systems to identify faults, risks, or improvement areas
- Supporting installation, commissioning, maintenance, and testing activities
- Carrying out electrical calculations and helping set technical standards
- Handling daily electrical maintenance activities and leading technicians on site
- Troubleshooting MV/LV incomers, switchgear, PCC, MCC, PLCs, and automation systems
- Supporting automation, PLC, and control system upgrades and improvements
- Coordinating with contractors and plant teams for electrical and automation projects
- Managing vendor coordination for electrical materials, approvals, and quality checks
- Supporting CAPEX projects and monitoring budgets and timelines
- Preparing and updating electrical drawings, control circuit diagrams, and reports using AutoCAD
- Ensuring all work follows HSE rules, company policies, and regulatory requirements
- Assisting with root cause analysis and solving technical issues quickly
- Communicating clearly with plant management, teams, and external suppliers
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Automation Engineering
- Basic working knowledge of PLC systems (Siemens S7, TIA Portal), SCADA, and VFDs
- Strong hands-on experience with medium and low voltage systems
- Good ability to read and understand electrical schematics and drawings
- Comfortable using AutoCAD (2016 or later) for electrical drawings
- Siemens PLC programming experience is an advantage
- Familiarity with IT and networking basics is a plus
- Good skills in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Fluent in English
- Strong leadership, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills
