Job Description
We’re currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our project team working on ongoing Oil & Gas construction projects in Qatar.
This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy hands-on site work, solving technical challenges, and being part of large industrial developments. If you have solid experience in electrical installation, testing, commissioning, and site coordination within Oil & Gas environments, we’d love to hear from you.
Please note: Oil & Gas experience is mandatory for this position.
About the Role
As an Electrical Engineer, you’ll play an important part in day-to-day site operations. You’ll work closely with project managers, supervisors, technicians, and subcontractors to ensure electrical activities are completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.
Your responsibilities will cover everything from reviewing drawings and supervising installations to supporting testing, commissioning, and final handover. This position suits someone who is practical, detail-focused, and comfortable working in fast-paced project environments.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Supervising electrical installation works across Oil & Gas project sites
• Reviewing electrical drawings, layouts, and technical documents before execution
• Coordinating daily site activities with project teams and subcontractors
• Making sure all works meet QA/QC requirements and HSE standards
• Supporting testing and commissioning of electrical systems such as power distribution, cabling, earthing, lighting, and panels
• Preparing material submittals, inspection requests, progress reports, and as-built documentation
• Monitoring site progress and helping resolve technical issues as they arise
• Communicating with clients, consultants, and internal teams to keep projects on track
• Ensuring quality workmanship and timely completion of assigned tasks
• Supporting project closeout and handover documentation
What We’re Looking For
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• At least 3–5 years of experience working on Oil & Gas projects
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and site execution
• Experience with electrical installation, testing, and commissioning activities
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and specifications
• Familiarity with QA/QC procedures and safety regulations
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work on project sites as required
• Professional attitude with a strong focus on safety
