We are currently seeking a qualified Safety Officer – Asghar Approved to join its growing team for ongoing construction, infrastructure, roadwork, and street lighting projects.

About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and responsible Safety Officer who can help maintain a safe and healthy working environment across project sites. The ideal candidate should be confident in handling site safety inspections, monitoring daily activities, identifying potential hazards, and ensuring all workers follow proper safety procedures.
You will work closely with engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and site workers to make sure all operations are carried out safely and in compliance with Asghar and Qatar HSE standards.
This role is best suited for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about workplace safety and accident prevention.
Main Responsibilities
- Conduct regular safety inspections at project sites
- Ensure all workers follow safety regulations and site procedures
- Identify hazards and take immediate corrective actions
- Monitor the proper use of PPE and safety equipment
- Carry out toolbox talks and safety awareness sessions
- Prepare safety reports, incident reports, and risk assessments
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses
- Coordinate with project teams to improve site safety standards
- Maintain HSE documents and compliance records
- Ensure compliance with Ashall requirements and Qatar safety regulations
- Support management in achieving a safe, accident-free workplace
Candidate Requirements
- Asghar Approved Safety Officer certification is mandatory
- Diploma or Degree in Safety, Engineering, or related field
- NEBOSH, IOSH, or similar safety certification is an advantage
- Minimum 2–5 years of GCC or Qatar experience in construction or infrastructure projects
- Good knowledge of occupational health & safety standards
- Strong communication and reporting skills
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced project environments
- Experience in roadworks, utilities, infrastructure, or street lighting projects is preferred
- Candidates available for immediate joining will be given preference
