FM Engineer Job Opportunity | MEP and Building Systems Role
Job Description
We’re currently looking for a capable and experienced FM Engineer (Facilities Management Engineer) to join our team. If you have a background in facilities management, MEP systems, or building maintenance, and enjoy keeping operations running smoothly, this could be a great fit for you.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for making sure all building systems are working efficiently and safely. From handling day-to-day maintenance to planning preventive schedules, you’ll play an important part in keeping everything on track.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Overseeing daily facility operations and maintenance activities
- Managing MEP systems including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing
- Planning and following up on preventive and corrective maintenance
- Coordinating with technicians, vendors, and contractors on-site
- Carrying out inspections and making sure everything meets safety standards
- Troubleshooting issues and resolving technical problems quickly
- Monitoring system performance and suggesting improvements where needed
- Preparing basic reports and keeping records of maintenance work
What We’re Looking For:
- A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or a related field)
- Hands-on experience in facilities management or MEP operations
- Good understanding of building systems like HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and BMS
- Ability to read drawings and understand technical layouts
- Strong problem-solving skills and a practical approach to work
- Good communication and coordination skills
