We are currently looking for a creative and skilled 3D Designer with strong AutoCAD experience to join our team on an urgent basis. This opportunity is perfect for someone who enjoys transforming ideas into clear visual designs and detailed technical drawings, especially for exhibition stands, event setups, and interior fit-out projects.
In this role, you will help bring design concepts to life by creating 3D models, realistic renderings, and technical shop drawings. Your work will support both client presentations and project execution, allowing clients and project teams to clearly understand the final look and layout before production or installation begins.
We are looking for someone who can combine creativity with technical precision, producing designs that are visually impressive while also practical for fabrication and installation.
About the Role
As a 3D Designer, you will play an important role in developing visual concepts that help clients and project teams see how the final design will look. You will create 3D perspectives, renderings, and layout drawings that communicate the design clearly and effectively.
Along with 3D design work, you will also prepare AutoCAD shop drawings and technical layouts that guide the production and installation teams. Your ability to translate creative ideas into accurate and buildable drawings will help ensure projects move smoothly from design to completion.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced creative environment and can manage design tasks while meeting project deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
3D Design and Visualization
- Create 3D models for exhibition stands, interior spaces, and event setups
- Produce realistic renderings for presentations and design approvals
- Develop 3D perspectives and visual concepts
- Present designs that show materials, lighting, and layout ideas
AutoCAD Drafting and Shop Drawings
- Prepare detailed shop drawings using AutoCAD
- Create layout plans and technical drawings
- Ensure drawings are accurate and suitable for production and installation
- Update drawings based on project changes and feedback
Design Development
- Support the creation of design concepts and visual presentations
- Prepare design layouts and presentation materials
- Adjust designs according to client feedback and project needs
- Ensure designs are both creative and practical
Team Coordination
- Work closely with design teams, project managers, and production teams
- Provide design support during production and installation stages
- Help resolve any technical design questions during project execution
Job Requirements
- Proficiency in 3D design software such as 3ds Max, SketchUp, or similar tools
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD
- Experience working on exhibition stands, event setups, interior design, or fit-out projects
- Ability to produce 3D visualizations, renderings, and shop drawings
- Good attention to detail and design accuracy
- Ability to work efficiently within project deadlines
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with exhibition companies, event production teams, or interior fit-out firms
- Strong creative ability combined with technical drawing skills
- Ability to manage multiple design tasks at the same time
- A strong portfolio showing 3D renderings and design work
- Immediate availability or short notice period preferred
