About the Role
As our HSE Engineer, you’ll be right at the heart of site operations, helping ensure everyone goes home safely at the end of the day.
You’ll carry out daily inspections, conduct risk assessments, lead toolbox talks, and work closely with engineers and supervisors to make sure safety procedures are followed. You’ll also help identify hazards early, support incident investigations, and keep all safety records organized.
Your presence on site will play a key role in building a strong safety culture and keeping projects running smoothly.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Carrying out daily safety inspections across construction sites
• Conducting risk assessments and identifying potential hazards
• Making sure HSE policies and site safety procedures are followed
• Organizing toolbox talks and safety inductions for workers
• Preparing HSE reports and maintaining safety documentation
• Supporting accident investigations and corrective actions
• Monitoring PPE usage and safe working practices
• Coordinating closely with site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors
• Assisting with safety plans and method statements
• Promoting safety awareness among workers
• Keeping safety records updated and supporting audits
• Providing regular safety updates to site management
What We’re Looking For
• Proven experience as an HSE Engineer in construction, road, or infrastructure projects
• Good knowledge of site safety regulations and HSE standards
• Experience on road and infrastructure works is a strong advantage
• Confident conducting inspections and preparing HSE documentation
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Comfortable working independently on active sites
• Detail-oriented with a proactive safety mindset
• Professional attitude with practical problem-solving ability
• Able to work under pressure and meet project deadlines
