Job Description
We’re currently looking for a SASRAF-approved Safety Officer to join our team for a short-term project in Al Jubail. If you have solid experience in site safety and know how to manage risks in an industrial or oil & gas environment, this could be a great fit for you.
About the Role
As a Safety Officer, your main responsibility will be to make sure everything on-site is running safely and in line with SASRAF and HSE standards. You’ll be actively involved in monitoring daily activities, identifying risks, and ensuring all workers follow proper safety procedures.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Keeping a close eye on site activities to spot and prevent potential hazards
- Making sure all work is carried out as per SASRAF safety rules and HSE guidelines
- Conducting regular site inspections, safety checks, and risk assessments
- Delivering toolbox talks and safety briefings to workers
- Ensuring proper use of PPE and safe work practices at all times
- Preparing and maintaining incident reports and safety records
- Investigating incidents and helping implement corrective actions
- Supporting emergency procedures and ensuring everyone knows what to do in critical situations
- Working closely with supervisors and teams to maintain a safe working environment
What We’re Looking For
- Valid SASRAF approval (mandatory)
- Experience working as a Safety Officer / HSE Officer in industrial, construction, or oil & gas projects
- Good understanding of site safety practices, risk assessment, and compliance
- Familiar with permit-to-work systems and safety procedures
- Certifications like NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA are a plus
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Ready to join immediately for a short-term assignment
