We are urgently seeking a Procurement Officer to join our team in Saudi Arabia, supporting high-value Oil & Gas and Saudi Aramco projects. About the Role
As a Procurement Officer – Oil & Gas Projects, you will be responsible for planning, sourcing, negotiating, and delivering materials required for project execution. You will ensure all procurement activities align with Saudi Aramco procurement standards, project specifications, and compliance requirements.
This is a critical position where your decisions directly impact project timelines, cost efficiency, and operational success.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complete procurement lifecycle – RFQ, evaluation, negotiation, and purchase order issuance
- Source Aramco-approved vendors and suppliers for project materials
- Ensure timely procurement of Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation materials
- Coordinate with engineering, project, and warehouse teams for material planning and delivery
- Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and quality compliance
- Maintain accurate procurement records, documentation, and reports
- Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco standards, company policies, and audit requirements
- Handle cost analysis, budgeting, and procurement planning to optimize expenses
- Resolve procurement issues, delays, or discrepancies efficiently
- Maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers
Candidate Requirements
- Any Bachelor’s Degree (preferred in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business Administration)
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Saudi Arabia within the Oil & Gas procurement field
- Strong knowledge of Saudi Aramco procurement systems and vendor registration processes
- Hands-on experience in EPC / LSTK / industrial project procurement
- Familiarity with material standards, specifications, and documentation requirements
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple procurement activities simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications in Supply Chain Management / Procurement / Logistics
- Experience working with Aramco-approved vendors and international suppliers
- Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar procurement software
- Understanding of contract management and commercial terms
