Job Description
We are currently looking for a qualified and experienced HSE Supervisor to join our team for projects in Saudi Arabia. This role is ideal for safety professionals who have solid experience working in Oil & Gas, construction, or industrial environments and understand the importance of maintaining strict health and safety standards on site.
The person in this role will be responsible for supervising safety activities, ensuring that all work is carried out safely, and making sure that site operations follow HSE regulations and Aramco safety standards. The goal is to create a safe working environment for all workers and to help prevent accidents and risks on the job site.
This position is suitable for someone who is confident in site safety supervision, hazard identification, and safety compliance, and who can communicate clearly with workers, supervisors, and project teams.
About the Role
As an HSE Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day safety activities on site. Your responsibility will be to make sure that all workers follow safety procedures and that the project site operates according to approved safety standards.
You will regularly inspect work areas, identify potential risks, and guide workers on safe working practices. You will also conduct safety meetings, provide safety instructions, and ensure that proper protective equipment is used at all times.
Working closely with project managers and supervisors, you will help maintain a safe and organized work environment while ensuring that all safety rules and regulations are followed.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor health, safety, and environmental activities on site
- Ensure that all work follows HSE procedures and safety regulations
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards and unsafe conditions
- Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by all workers
- Deliver toolbox talks and safety awareness sessions
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses when required
- Prepare and maintain safety reports and HSE documentation
- Work closely with project teams to improve site safety performance
- Encourage workers to follow safe working practices at all times
- Support the development of a strong safety culture on site
Requirements
- Mandatory Aramco approval as HSE / Safety Supervisor
- 5–10 years of experience in safety supervision, preferably in Oil & Gas projects
- IOSH or NEBOSH certification
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and safety procedures
- Valid and transferable Iqama in Saudi Arabia
- Fluency in English
- Arabic language skills are an advantage
- Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
