Job Description
We’re on the lookout for a talented HVAC Design Engineer who genuinely enjoys solving engineering challenges and creating efficient, practical HVAC solutions. If you have solid experience in HVAC system design and want to work on meaningful projects across oil & gas, commercial, and industrial sectors, this could be a great fit for you.
What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you’ll be involved in the complete HVAC design process — from understanding project requirements to delivering fully compliant and well-optimized system designs.
Your day-to-day work will include:
- Designing and developing HVAC systems for a variety of projects including Oil & Gas, commercial buildings, and industrial facilities
- Making sure all designs align with Saudi Aramco standards (SAES) as well as international guidelines like ASHRAE and SMACNA
- Carrying out detailed calculations such as cooling load, heat load, and ventilation requirements
- Designing duct layouts, airflow systems, chilled water piping, and ventilation networks
- Selecting the right equipment — including AHUs, chillers, FCUs, PACUs, and ventilation fans
- Reviewing RFQs, tender documents, and drawings to ensure everything is technically accurate
- Preparing technical submissions, BOQs, and design documentation
- Working closely with MEP teams, consultants, and project managers to keep everything aligned
- Supporting projects during execution, installation, and commissioning when needed
- Looking for smarter, energy-efficient ways to improve system performance and reduce costs
What We’re Looking For
We’re not just looking for qualifications — we’re looking for someone who understands the work and takes ownership of it.
- At least 4+ years of hands-on experience in HVAC design
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems like chilled water systems, VRF, ventilation, and air distribution
- Comfortable using tools like HAP, Elite, AutoCAD, and ideally Revit MEP
- Familiar with international standards and able to apply them in real project scenarios
- Able to manage multiple tasks without compromising on quality
- Good communication skills and a practical approach to problem-solving
