Job Description
We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Production Manager to join our team and take charge of day-to-day manufacturing operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading people, improving processes, and making sure production runs smoothly from start to finish.
As our Production Manager, you’ll play a key role in meeting production targets, maintaining quality standards, supporting your team, and creating a safe and efficient factory environment. About the Role
In this position, you’ll oversee all production activities on the factory floor. From planning schedules and managing materials to supervising staff and tracking performance, you’ll ensure everything runs efficiently and on time.
You’ll work closely with quality control, procurement, and management teams to solve problems, reduce waste, and improve productivity. This is a practical leadership role that requires strong organization, clear communication, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
What You’ll Be Doing
Production Planning & Daily Operations
• Create daily, weekly, and monthly production plans
• Make sure production targets are achieved on schedule
• Coordinate staff, machines, and materials
• Monitor workflow and adjust plans when challenges arise
• Support capacity planning and forecasting
Factory Operations Management
• Supervise production teams and shop-floor activities
• Improve processes to increase efficiency and reduce downtime
• Identify issues early and take corrective action
• Keep accurate production records and documentation
Quality Control & Standards
• Ensure products meet quality and regulatory requirements
• Work closely with QC teams to resolve defects
• Implement corrective and preventive actions
• Make sure SOPs and production standards are followed
Inventory & Materials
• Track raw material usage and production consumption
• Coordinate with procurement to avoid material shortages
• Reduce waste and control production costs
• Maintain accurate inventory and production records
Team Leadership
• Hire, train, and guide production staff
• Assign tasks and monitor performance
• Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback
• Build a positive, disciplined, and team-focused work culture
Health, Safety & Compliance
• Enforce workplace safety rules and procedures
• Carry out safety checks and risk assessments
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
• Promote a safe working environment for everyone
Continuous Improvement
• Look for ways to improve processes and productivity
• Lead efficiency and cost-saving initiatives
• Support improvement projects and performance reviews
Reporting
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports
• Track key metrics such as output, waste, downtime, and efficiency
• Share performance updates with management
