Job Description
We are currently hiring an experienced and Aramco-approved Welding Inspector for an ongoing project in Riyadh, Al Saad City, Saudi Arabia. We are looking for a dedicated professional with strong experience in welding inspection, QA/QC procedures, industrial construction, and oil & gas projects.
This role is ideal for candidates who have previously worked on refinery, petrochemical, piping, tank, or structural steel projects and are familiar with Aramco quality standards and site requirements.
About the Role
The selected candidate will be responsible for monitoring welding activities, ensuring quality standards are maintained, and verifying that all work is carried out according to approved procedures and project specifications. The role requires close coordination with site teams, QA/QC departments, engineers, and supervisors to maintain high-quality workmanship throughout the project.
Main Responsibilities
- Inspect welding activities and ensure compliance with project requirements
- Monitor welding procedures, materials, and workmanship on-site
- Verify welder qualifications and approved welding procedures
- Conduct visual inspections and maintain quality documentation
- Coordinate with QA/QC teams and project engineers
- Identify quality issues and assist in resolving technical concerns
- Ensure all welding work follows Aramco standards and safety regulations
- Prepare inspection reports and maintain proper records
Requirements
- Must be Aramco approved
- Previous experience as a Welding Inspector in oil & gas or industrial projects
- Good knowledge of welding inspection and QA/QC procedures
- Experience in refinery, petrochemical, piping, tank, or fabrication projects preferred
- Ability to read technical drawings and welding specifications
- Strong communication and reporting skills
- Immediate joiners will be preferred
Preferred Certifications
- API
- CSWIP
- AWS
- NDT or other QA/QC certifications
Preferred Industry Experience
