Job Description
We’re on the lookout for a reliable and detail-focused Procurement Executive who can take care of our purchasing needs, especially when it comes to spare parts and materials. If you’re someone who enjoys dealing with suppliers, finding the best prices, and making sure everything arrives on time without any hassle, this role will suit you well.
Your work will play a big part in keeping daily operations running smoothly by ensuring materials are always available when needed—without delays or extra costs.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Take care of the complete purchasing process from requirement to delivery
- Source spare parts, materials, and other required items based on team needs
- Connect with suppliers, request quotes, and compare options
- Negotiate prices and terms to get the best value
- Create purchase orders and keep all records properly updated
- Follow up with vendors to make sure deliveries happen on time
- Work closely with internal teams like operations and stores
- Keep an eye on stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking
- Maintain records using Excel or procurement systems
- Build strong and long-term relationships with trusted suppliers
- Look for ways to save costs and improve purchasing efficiency
- Stay aware of market prices and better sourcing options
What We’re Looking For
- 2 to 4 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain
- Practical experience in spare parts or materials procurement
- Good understanding of vendor coordination and negotiation
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and procurement/ERP systems
- Someone who is responsible, organized, and can handle multiple tasks
It’s Even Better If You Have
- Experience in industrial or technical purchasing
- Familiarity with spare parts, machinery, or maintenance materials
- Exposure to cost-saving or bulk purchasing methods
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
