Job Description
We’re looking for a Project Accountant who can bring clarity and control to project finances. If you’re someone who enjoys working closely with project teams, keeping budgets on track, and making sense of numbers in a practical way, this role could be a great fit for you.
About the Role
In this role, you’ll be handling the financial side of projects from start to finish. That means tracking costs, managing budgets, preparing reports, and making sure everything is running in line with financial plans. You’ll work closely with project managers, helping them understand where things stand financially and what needs attention.
What You’ll Be Doing
Managing Project Finances
- Handle project-wise accounting, making sure every cost is recorded correctly
- Keep a close eye on project expenses, revenue, and overall profitability
- Ensure budgets are followed and highlight any overspending early
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare monthly financial reports for each project
- Compare actual costs with budgets and explain any differences
- Share insights that help improve financial performance
Working with Project Teams
- Coordinate with project managers on budgeting, forecasts, and cash flow
- Support planning with accurate financial data and updates
Billing & Payments
- Manage client invoicing and follow up on payments
- Handle subcontractor payments and ensure everything is processed on time
- Keep records organized and up to date
Compliance & Controls
- Make sure all financial activities follow company policies and local regulations
- Maintain proper documentation for audits and internal checks
- Help strengthen financial processes and controls
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience as a Project Accountant, ideally in construction or EPC projects
- Good understanding of cost control, budgeting, and project accounting
- Comfortable working with ERP systems and MS Excel
- Experience with Saudi Arabia or GCC projects is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and a practical approach to problem-solving
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
