Job Description
We’re on the lookout for a skilled Cost Control Engineer who knows how to keep projects financially on track without compromising quality. If you have solid experience in project costing, budgeting, and financial monitoring within construction or engineering projects, this could be the right opportunity for you.
In this role, you’ll be at the heart of project performance—making sure costs are well managed, risks are identified early, and every project stays aligned with its financial goals.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Keeping a close eye on project costs from start to finish
- Preparing budgets, forecasts, and regular cost reports
- Identifying cost variations and suggesting practical solutions
- Tracking expenses and making sure everything stays within budget
- Working closely with project, procurement, and finance teams
- Supporting billing processes, invoices, and payment tracking
- Reviewing variations, subcontractor claims, and change orders
- Helping improve cost efficiency through smart planning and value engineering
What We’re Looking For
- A degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Finance, or a related field
- 5–10 years of hands-on experience in cost control or project finance
- Strong understanding of construction, MEP, or infrastructure projects
- Confidence in budgeting, forecasting, and cost reporting
- Good working knowledge of Excel, ERP systems, or cost control tools
- Familiarity with tools like Primavera or MS Project is a plus
- A sharp eye for detail and strong analytical thinking
- Someone who can communicate clearly and work well with different teams
