Job Description
We’re looking for a committed and detail-minded Junior Accountant to join our finance team. If you have a basic understanding of accounting and are eager to learn, grow, and gain practical experience, this role could be a great fit for you.
About the Role
As a Junior Accountant, you’ll support the finance team with daily accounting tasks and help keep financial records accurate and up to date. You’ll work closely with senior staff and gain hands-on exposure to different areas of accounting.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assisting with the preparation of financial records and reports
- Supporting accounts payable and receivable activities
- Helping with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
- Performing bank reconciliations and maintaining cash records
- Assisting with payroll processing and employee expense tracking
- Ensuring accounting work follows company policies and standards
- Updating and maintaining accounting software and financial data
- Coordinating with auditors, banks, and consultants when required
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Some experience in accounting or finance is an advantage
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and regulations
- Familiarity with tools like QuickBooks, Tally, or SAP
- Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
- Willingness to learn, take responsibility, and meet deadlines
- Good communication skills and a positive team attitude
