About the Role
As a Draftsman, you will play an important role in supporting engineering and construction projects by preparing accurate technical drawings and layouts. You will be responsible for converting concepts, site information, and engineering requirements into professional drawings that help project teams execute work efficiently and accurately.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable working on construction, infrastructure, MEP, architectural, and fit-out projects while maintaining high standards of quality and attention to detail.
Main Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings for engineering and construction projects
- Create shop drawings, as-built drawings, and technical layouts
- Update and revise drawings based on site conditions and project changes
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, consultants, and site supervisors
- Ensure all drawings follow project specifications and industry standards
- Maintain organized drawing records and documentation
- Support project teams with accurate technical drafting and design assistance
- Assist with drawing submissions and project coordination when required
Candidate Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Drafting, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
- Experience working as a Draftsman in construction, infrastructure, MEP, or fit-out projects
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD and technical drafting software
- Strong understanding of engineering and architectural drawings
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines
- Good communication and coordination skills
- GCC or Qatar experience will be an added advantage
