As an IT Technician, you will play an important role in supporting the company’s day-to-day technology operations. You will be responsible for ensuring that computer systems, networks, software, and IT equipment function efficiently, helping employees stay connected and productive.
We are seeking someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of providing effective technical support while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
Your Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment.
- Provide technical assistance and support to employees across different departments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Monitor and maintain network connectivity, internet services, and system performance.
- Set up user accounts, email access, and system permissions.
- Install software applications, updates, and security patches.
- Perform routine system maintenance and ensure all devices are functioning properly.
- Assist with data backup procedures and basic cybersecurity measures.
- Maintain accurate records of IT assets, repairs, and technical documentation.
- Support the implementation of new technologies and IT improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers when required.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience as an IT Technician, IT Support Technician, Help Desk Technician, or a similar role.
- Good knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, software applications, and networking.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows environments and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Basic understanding of routers, switches, Wi-Fi networks, and internet connectivity.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Relevant IT certifications will be considered an advantage.
Candidate Requirements
- Must be currently available in Qatar.
- Valid QID is required.
- NOC (No Objection Certificate) is mandatory.
- Candidates who can join immediately will be given preference.
