Job Description
We’re on the lookout for an experienced Buyer / Supply Chain Executive to join our team in Dammam. This role is perfect for someone who understands how critical a well-managed supply chain is to business success. If you’ve worked in a manufacturing or production environment and know how to balance cost, quality, and timelines, you’ll feel right at home here.
In this position, you won’t just be placing orders—you’ll be at the centre of operations, making sure materials flow smoothly, suppliers stay aligned, and production never slows down.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll take ownership of the entire purchasing process—from sourcing suppliers to ensuring materials arrive on time and meet quality expectations. Day to day, that means working closely with vendors, negotiating the best possible terms, and keeping a close eye on delivery schedules.
You’ll also coordinate logistics, tracking shipments and handling documentation so everything moves without delays. At the same time, you’ll stay connected with the production team to make sure stock levels are always where they need to be—no shortages, no excess.
Building strong supplier relationships will be a big part of your role. You’ll evaluate performance, resolve issues when they arise, and continuously look for better sourcing opportunities.
When challenges come up—and they will—you’ll be the person who finds solutions. Whether it’s a delayed shipment or a sudden shortage, you’ll act quickly to keep things on track.
You’ll also work with ERP systems and Excel to manage data, monitor inventory, and generate reports that help improve decision-making. Keeping costs under control is key, so you’ll regularly review pricing, analyse spending, and look for smarter ways to buy without compromising quality.
Beyond the day-to-day tasks, you’ll contribute to improving processes. From optimizing inventory planning to reducing lead times, your ideas and insights will help the business run more efficiently.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone with solid experience in procurement, supply chain, and logistics, ideally within a production or manufacturing setup. You should be comfortable handling multiple responsibilities, making decisions under pressure, and working with different teams across the business.
A good understanding of supplier management, inventory planning, and purchasing analysis will go a long way. If you’ve worked with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle and are confident using Excel for reporting and analysis, that’s a strong advantage.
Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who takes ownership, thinks ahead, and knows how to keep operations running smoothly—even when things don’t go as planned.
