Full-Time MEP Company Hiring Experienced Technical Support Engineer
Job Description
We are currently looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join our growing team in the MEP and cable tray sector.
This role is ideal for candidates who are confident in handling technical documents, coordinating with consultants and project teams, and supporting engineering operations from project initiation to approval stages.
As a Technical Support Engineer, you will play an important role in ensuring all technical submissions, compliance documents, and project records are prepared accurately and submitted on time. Candidates with experience in MEP projects, cable tray systems, construction materials, and engineering coordination will be highly preferred.
Main Responsibilities
- Prepare technical submittals, material approvals, and compliance documents for ongoing projects
- Review project specifications, BOQ, and technical drawings carefully before submission
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal departments regarding technical approvals
- Follow up on consultant comments and update documents whenever revisions are required
- Support the sales and production teams with technical information and project-related documentation
- Maintain proper records of project files, technical documents, approvals, and reports
- Ensure all engineering submissions meet project specifications and client requirements
- Assist with technical coordination during project execution when required
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in technical submittals and engineering documentation
- Good working knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and PDF editing software
- Familiarity with MEP systems and cable tray products will be an advantage
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Ability to understand technical drawings and project specifications
- Strong organizational and coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently
- GCC experience in construction or engineering companies is preferred
