About the Role
In this position, you’ll be responsible for designing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems for a variety of building projects. You’ll lead the technical side of designs, prepare detailed drawings and calculations, and make sure everything meets project requirements and applicable standards.
You’ll also guide junior engineers, coordinate with architects and contractors, and support projects during construction through site visits and technical reviews. Your role will be hands-on, collaborative, and key to delivering successful outcomes.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading MEP design from concept through construction drawings
- Designing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems
- Preparing load calculations, layouts, schematics, and technical reports
- Managing multiple projects and keeping designs on schedule
- Providing technical guidance and mentoring junior engineers
- Coordinating with architects, consultants, and contractors
- Making sure designs meet codes, standards, and client expectations
- Visiting sites to review progress and resolve technical issues
- Checking contractor submissions, shop drawings, and material approvals
- Supporting testing, commissioning, and handover stages
- Taking part in client meetings and design discussions
- Keeping project documentation organized and up to date
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering
- Around 5–12+ years of MEP design experience
- At least 3–5 years in a senior or lead role
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is a plus
- Strong working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, and load calculation software
- Solid understanding of HVAC, power distribution, plumbing, and fire protection systems
- Experience in consultancy or EPC environments is an advantage
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure
- A positive attitude and team-focused mindset
