Job Description
We’re currently looking for an experienced and motivated Structural Draftsman (Offshore) to join our engineering team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys turning engineering concepts into clear, accurate drawings and supporting offshore construction projects from design through execution.
If you have hands-on experience with structural drafting, steel detailing, and offshore drawings — and you enjoy working closely with engineers and site teams — we’d love to hear from you.
About the Role
As our Structural Draftsman, you’ll play an important part in bringing offshore structures to life on paper. You’ll work side by side with structural engineers and project teams to prepare detailed shop drawings, fabrication layouts, and construction documents that help keep projects moving smoothly.
Your work will directly support fabrication accuracy, site execution, and overall project success.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Preparing detailed structural shop drawings and general arrangement layouts
• Creating steel fabrication drawings for offshore platforms, jackets, pipe racks, and related structures
• Turning IFC drawings into clear construction documents
• Coordinating with engineers to clarify design details and resolve technical questions
• Updating drawings based on site feedback and design changes
• Making sure all drawings meet project standards and specifications
• Assisting with material take-offs when needed
• Keeping drawing files organized and up to date
• Supporting site teams with revised drawings and technical clarifications
• Joining coordination meetings when required
• Delivering quality work while meeting project deadlines
What We’re Looking For
• 3–5 years of experience as a Structural Draftsman (offshore experience is a big plus)
• Strong background in structural drafting and steel detailing
• Confident using AutoCAD (experience with other CAD or BIM tools is an advantage)
• Good understanding of offshore construction drawings and fabrication processes
• Able to read and interpret engineering plans and specifications
• Comfortable working with multidisciplinary teams
• Detail-focused with good time management skills
• Professional, reliable, and proactive in solving problems
