Full-Time Piping Engineer Jobs in EPC and Offshore Industry
Job Description
We are expanding our engineering team and currently searching for a Piping Engineer skilled who can confidently handle piping engineering activities, fabrication support, hydro testing documentation, and project coordination.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced industrial environment and has hands-on experience with piping systems, engineering drawings, spool preparation, and offshore or industrial projects. You will work closely with engineering, fabrication, QA/QC, and production teams to ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and according to client requirements.
Job Responsibilities
- Review piping design drawings, vendor drawings, datasheets, and technical documents
- Check and verify Piping Material Take-Off (MTO) quantities and report any discrepancies or missing details
- Prepare spool drawings based on approved piping design drawings
- Develop piping procedures, method statements, and technical specifications
- Prepare Scope of Work (SOW) documents for subcontracted piping activities
- Review and approve procedures submitted by subcontractors for piping-related works
- Coordinate with the Engineering Discipline Lead (EDL) regarding technical concerns, FCRs, and TQs
- Prepare hydro-test packages for jacket risers, topside systems, and subsea spools
- Provide day-to-day technical support to the piping production and fabrication team
- Ensure all piping activities are carried out according to project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements
- Support fabrication, installation, testing, and project execution activities when required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- Previous experience as a Piping Engineer in Oil & Gas, Offshore, EPC, Petrochemical, or Industrial projects
- Strong understanding of piping fabrication, hydro testing, and engineering documentation
- Experience in spool drawing preparation and piping MTO verification
- Ability to read and interpret piping drawings, isometric drawings, and technical specifications
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
Preferred Candidate Profile
We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, technically strong, and capable of managing engineering responsibilities with confidence. Candidates with offshore project experience and knowledge of international piping standards will have an added advantage.
