We’re looking for an experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team in Saudi Arabia. If you’ve worked with chemical raw materials, handled suppliers, and managed purchasing from start to finish, this could be a great opportunity for you.
This role is ideal for someone who understands the market, is confident negotiating with suppliers, and can keep things running smoothly without delays.
About the Role
In this role, you’ll take care of the full procurement cycle—from finding the right suppliers to making sure materials are delivered on time. You’ll be working with both local and international vendors, so good communication and coordination will be important.
Your main goal will be to make sure the right materials are available when needed, without affecting quality or cost.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Sourcing and purchasing chemical raw materials from local and international suppliers
- Finding reliable manufacturers and vendors
- Requesting quotations and comparing different offers
- Negotiating prices, delivery terms, and contracts
- Preparing and managing purchase orders
- Coordinating with logistics teams for deliveries and shipments
- Monitoring stock levels to avoid delays or shortages
- Building strong relationships with suppliers
- Keeping records and making sure everything is properly documented
Experience That Will Help You
- Working with industrial or specialty chemicals
- Dealing with local and international suppliers
- Handling imports, exports, and shipping coordination
- Experience in manufacturing or chemical-related companies
Tools & Knowledge
- Basic experience with ERP systems or procurement software
- Good knowledge of Excel for tracking and reporting
- Ability to maintain supplier records and purchase data
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry
- At least 5 years of experience in procurement (chemical industry preferred)
- Good knowledge of sourcing chemical raw materials in Saudi Arabia
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and stay organized
