Job Description
We’re currently looking for an experienced and hands-on Production Engineer to join our steel fabrication (cut & bend) facility. If you have worked in the rebar or steel processing industry and enjoy managing production on the shop floor, this could be a great opportunity to take your career forward.
This role is perfect for someone who understands how to balance production targets, quality, and efficiency, while keeping operations running smoothly every day.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be taking care of the complete production process, making sure everything runs as planned and on time.
- Plan daily and weekly production schedules based on project requirements
- Make sure cutting and bending of rebar is done correctly as per drawings
- Manage manpower, machines, and materials efficiently
- Keep an eye on production output, machine performance, and deadlines
- Work closely with QA/QC, stores, maintenance, and logistics teams
- Track material usage and reduce unnecessary waste
- Prepare simple production reports and keep records updated
- Ensure all safety procedures are followed on the shop floor
- Quickly handle any production issues or delays
What We’re Looking For
- Diploma in Civil / Mechanical Engineering (Bachelor’s degree is a plus)
- Around 3–5 years of experience in production or manufacturing
- Minimum 5 years of experience in steel fabrication or cut & bend industry
- Practical experience with:
- Rebar cutting and bending machines
- Steel reinforcement and fabrication work
