We are currently seeking a highly experienced Project Engineer to join our team and lead projects related to Cathodic Protection systems and Overhead Powerline installations within the oil and gas sector. This role is ideal for a professional who has spent several years working on large infrastructure projects, particularly those connected to Saudi Aramco standards and operations.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding projects from the planning stage through execution and final commissioning, ensuring that every phase is delivered safely, efficiently, and according to the required engineering specifications. You will work closely with project teams, contractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure that all technical and operational aspects of the project are managed successfully.

About the Role
As a Project Engineer, you will oversee the day-to-day technical and operational activities of major engineering projects. You will also play a key role in maintaining smooth communication between clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams. The goal is to ensure that every project is completed on time, within budget, and according to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership
- Lead the planning, execution, and commissioning of Cathodic Protection and Overhead Powerline projects
- Prepare project schedules, work plans, and resource requirements
- Ensure that project goals and deadlines are achieved efficiently
Site Supervision
- Supervise engineers, technicians, subcontractors, and suppliers on-site
- Monitor construction and installation activities to maintain safety, quality, and productivity
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams when required
Compliance and Engineering Standards
- Ensure that all project activities comply with Saudi Aramco specifications and international engineering standards
- Review engineering drawings, technical documents, and project reports
- Maintain strict adherence to industry safety and quality procedures
Stakeholder Coordination
- Serve as the main technical contact for clients, consultants, and internal management teams
- Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure smooth project progress
- Provide regular updates regarding project performance and technical developments
Project Control
- Monitor project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation
- Identify potential risks and implement solutions to prevent delays
- Ensure quality control throughout all stages of the project
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field
- Minimum 15 years of experience working on Cathodic Protection and Overhead Powerline projects
- At least 5 years of experience in a senior or leadership engineering role
- Direct experience working on Saudi Aramco Oil & Gas projects is mandatory
- Strong knowledge of electrical infrastructure, cathodic protection systems, and powerline engineering
- Excellent leadership, planning, and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and team coordination abilities
Preferred Skills
- Extensive experience in oil and gas infrastructure and construction projects
- Ability to manage large engineering teams and subcontractors
- Strong understanding of technical drawings, project documentation, and engineering specifications
- Experience in project planning, budgeting, and risk management
- Familiarity with international engineering and safety standards
