Full-Time Qatar Job Vacancy for Safety Officer | NEBOSH Certified Candidates Needed
Job Description
We are currently expanding its team and is looking for a Safety Officer dedicated who is passionate about workplace safety, employee wellbeing, and maintaining high HSE standards across project sites.
This role is ideal for candidates with strong experience in construction, industrial, or engineering environments who can confidently manage site safety operations and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
About the Role
As a Safety Officer, you will play an important role in creating and maintaining a safe working environment for all employees and site personnel. You will be responsible for monitoring daily safety practices, conducting inspections, identifying potential hazards, and ensuring all safety procedures are properly followed.
The company is looking for someone proactive, responsible, and capable of handling site safety requirements with professionalism and confidence.
Main Responsibilities
- Monitor daily workplace and site safety activities
- Conduct routine safety inspections and risk assessments
- Ensure all workers follow company safety procedures and HSE regulations
- Identify unsafe conditions and recommend corrective actions
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety awareness sessions
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses when required
- Prepare safety reports and maintain proper documentation
- Ensure proper use of PPE and other safety equipment
- Support emergency preparedness and evacuation procedures
- Work closely with supervisors, engineers, and project teams to maintain safety standards
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Safety Officer
- NEBOSH Certification is mandatory
- Good understanding of workplace health & safety practices
- Experience in construction, industrial, or engineering projects is preferred
- Strong communication and reporting skills
- Ability to work independently and manage site safety responsibilities efficiently
- Any nationality may apply
