We are currently hiring an experienced MEP Draftsman (Electrical) to join its professional team. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented candidate who can confidently handle electrical drafting works and coordinate with engineering and site teams for ongoing projects across Qatar.

Job Role
The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing and updating electrical and MEP drawings for commercial, residential, and industrial projects. The role requires strong technical knowledge, accuracy in drafting, and the ability to work closely with engineers, consultants, and project teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Main Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed electrical shop drawings and MEP coordination drawings
- Develop lighting layouts, power layouts, cable tray layouts, and single-line diagrams
- Update as-built drawings based on site conditions and project changes
- Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and site supervisors
- Review technical drawings and project specifications carefully
- Ensure all drawings meet project standards and Qatar regulations
- Revise drawings according to consultant comments and site requirements
- Maintain proper drawing records and revision documentation
- Support project teams with technical drafting assistance when required
Requirements
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of local experience in Qatar
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Strong experience in electrical and MEP drafting works
- Good command of AutoCAD and related drafting software
- Familiarity with commercial and residential construction projects
- Valid Qatar Driving License is mandatory
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines
- Candidates available for immediate joining will be preferred
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting coordination drawings
- Experience working with MEP contractors or construction companies
- Ability to understand engineering drawings and site requirements
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
