We are currently looking for an experienced and dependable Accountant to join our team in Bahrain. If you have a background in restaurant or hospitality accounting and enjoy working in a fast-moving environment, this could be a great opportunity to take the next step in your career.
Our company is growing, and we are looking for someone who can confidently manage day-to-day accounting tasks, maintain accurate financial records, and support the smooth financial operations of the business. The ideal candidate should be organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling multiple responsibilities within the restaurant and food & beverage industry.
In this role, you will work closely with management and operational teams to ensure all accounting activities are completed accurately and on time. Your contribution will play an important role in helping the company maintain strong financial control and operational efficiency.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Managing daily accounting and bookkeeping activities
- Recording financial transactions and maintaining proper documentation
- Preparing financial reports, statements, and summaries
- Handling accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Monitoring restaurant costs, food costing, and operational expenses
- Managing inventory records and stock reconciliation
- Performing daily sales reconciliation and cash flow tracking
- Processing supplier invoices and payment follow-ups
- Supporting budgeting and financial planning activities
- Assisting with VAT reporting and compliance requirements
- Coordinating with auditors when required
- Ensuring all accounting records are accurate and up to date
What We Are Looking For:
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in the restaurant or hospitality sector
- Strong understanding of accounting procedures and financial reporting
- Experience with restaurant costing, inventory control, and sales reconciliation
- Good knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
Added Advantages:
- Experience working with restaurant POS systems
- Knowledge of VAT procedures and reporting
- Experience handling accounts for multi-branch operations
- Strong Excel reporting and analytical skills
