Job Description
We’re looking for a dedicated and experienced HSE Engineer (Health, Safety & Environment Engineer) to be part of our AVR2 Project. If you have a strong background in civil construction and hands-on experience in high-rise building projects, this could be the right opportunity for you.
This role is for professionals who take safety seriously and know how to maintain high standards on active construction sites. Please note — we will only move forward with candidates who fully meet the requirements. Incomplete or irrelevant applications won’t be considered.
What You’ll Be Doing:
In this role, you’ll be responsible for making sure everything on-site runs safely and in line with regulations. Your day-to-day work will include:
- Putting HSE policies and procedures into action on-site
- Making sure all activities follow local safety laws and international standards
- Carrying out risk assessments, site inspections, and safety audits
- Identifying potential hazards and taking steps to prevent accidents
- Leading toolbox talks, safety briefings, and training sessions
- Monitoring proper use of PPE and safe work practices
- Investigating incidents and helping prevent future issues
- Working closely with engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors
- Keeping accurate records, reports, and safety documentation
- Supporting emergency planning and site preparedness
What We’re Looking For (Mandatory):
- 6–8 years of experience in civil construction projects
- At least 3–4 years working on high-rise building projects
- Solid on-site experience in handling HSE responsibilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil or related field preferred)
- Required certifications:
- Safety Diploma
- NEBOSH IGC
- IOSH Managing Safely
