Full-Time Hiring Accountant for Restaurant | FandB Accounting Job Opportunity
Job Description
We’re currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Accountant to join our team, ideally someone who has worked in the food & beverage (F&B) industry, especially within restaurant operations. If you understand how restaurant finances work and can confidently manage accounts without constant supervision, this role could be a great fit for you.
In this position, you’ll take ownership of day-to-day accounting activities and ensure everything runs smoothly from a financial perspective. Your role will be important in maintaining accuracy, controlling costs, and supporting the overall performance of the business.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Managing daily accounting tasks for restaurant operations
- Handling accounts payable and receivable efficiently
- Keeping records updated, including general ledger entries and reconciliations
- Preparing financial reports, including profit & loss statements
- Monitoring food costs, stock levels, and wastage
- Performing bank reconciliations and tracking cash flow
- Supporting audits and ensuring all financial records are well maintained
- Working closely with the operations team for budgeting and cost control
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in restaurant or F&B accounting is essential
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles and reporting
- Ability to work independently and stay organized
- Familiarity with accounting software and MS Excel
- Strong attention to detail and a responsible approach to work
