Job Description
We’re looking for a motivated and responsible Safety Officer to join our team in Saudi Arabia. If you’re someone who takes workplace safety seriously and wants to grow your career in HSE jobs in Saudi Arabia or industrial safety roles, this could be a great opportunity for you.
In this role, you’ll be part of a hands-on environment where your main focus will be keeping people safe, ensuring compliance, and helping build a strong safety culture across the site.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Putting HSE policies and procedures into action and making sure they are followed properly
- Carrying out risk assessments and hazard identification before and during work activities
- Making sure all workers are using the correct PPE and safety practices
- Conducting daily site inspections to identify and fix potential safety issues
- Monitoring high-risk activities like lifting operations, hot work, confined space entry, and work at height
- Managing and reviewing Permit to Work (PTW) systems
- Leading toolbox talks, safety briefings, and induction sessions
- Investigating incidents, accidents, and near misses, and helping prevent future issues
- Keeping accurate safety reports, records, and documentation
- Working closely with supervisors, engineers, and project teams to maintain safety standards
- Making sure all activities meet Saudi labour laws, OSHA guidelines, and HSE regulations
What We’re Looking For
- Saudi National (mandatory)
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Engineering, or a related field
- NEBOSH or IOSH certification is preferred
- Around 1–2 years of experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or fabrication environment
- Good understanding of workplace safety, risk management, and HSE systems
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle responsibilities on-site and work with different teams
Additional Details
- Registration in GOSI/Abshir is required (if applicable)
- Candidates who are available to join immediately will be given preference
- This is an on-site role, so flexibility and commitment are important
