Job Description
We’re looking for a highly experienced and dependable Senior Accountant to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is ideal for someone with strong tax and finance experience who has spent several years working in the Saudi or Gulf market, especially within construction companies.
If you’re confident handling accounts independently, understand local regulations well, and can join at short notice, this could be a great opportunity for you.
About the Role
As a Senior Accountant, you’ll take full responsibility for managing financial and tax-related activities. You’ll ensure accounts are accurate, compliant, and up to date while working closely with management, auditors, and consultants.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing day-to-day accounting and financial operations
- Handling VAT, tax compliance, and related filings
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Managing general ledger, payables, receivables, and reconciliations
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and cost control activities
- Coordinating with auditors and external consultants
- Ensuring compliance with Saudi financial regulations
- Supporting construction and project-related accounting activities
What We’re Looking For
- 8+ years of accounting experience in Saudi Arabia or the Gulf
- Strong knowledge of tax, finance, and accounting standards
- Experience with construction companies is highly preferred
- Good understanding of Saudi regulations and reporting requirements
- Ability to work independently and handle responsibilities confidently
- Strong attention to detail and reporting skills
