Full-Time Site Engineer Hiring in Qatar | UPDA Certified MEP Engineer Jobs
Job Description
We’re currently looking for an experienced Site Engineer (Mechanical & Electrical) to join our team in Qatar. If you’ve been working in MEP projects within the GCC and are ready to take on a more responsible, hands-on role, this could be a great fit for you.
This position is best suited for someone who is confident on-site, understands how MEP systems come together in real projects, and can coordinate effectively with teams to keep everything running smoothly.
What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you’ll be at the heart of site operations—making sure mechanical and electrical works are carried out properly, safely, and on schedule. You’ll be working closely with project teams, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure everything is aligned with the project requirements.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing MEP works such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems
- Making sure all work is executed as per drawings, specifications, and approved plans
- Coordinating with different teams on-site to avoid delays and keep progress on track
- Monitoring site activities and preparing regular progress reports
- Supporting inspections, testing, and commissioning of systems
- Identifying issues early and solving them before they impact timelines
- Ensuring safety standards are followed at all times
- Reviewing drawings, materials, and technical submissions when required
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- At least 5 years of GCC experience in MEP contracting or construction projects
- UPDA License (Grade-C or higher) is mandatory
- Qatar driving license is an advantage
- Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
- Strong understanding of site execution, coordination, and problem-solving
Skills That Will Help You Succeed
- Hands-on experience in MEP site supervision
- Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Ability to manage site teams and coordinate effectively
- Familiarity with QA/QC and safety standards
- Confidence in handling day-to-day site challenges
