About the Role
As an Inventory Accountant, you will be responsible for monitoring stock records, tracking inventory movement, preparing financial reports, and ensuring that inventory data is always accurate and up to date. You will work closely with warehouse and operations teams to maintain smooth inventory processes and support the company’s financial activities.
Main Responsibilities
• Monitor and reconcile inventory and stock records regularly
• Track stock movement, inventory valuation, and product costing
• Prepare inventory reports, stock analysis, and financial summaries
• Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams for inventory accuracy
• Identify stock discrepancies and support corrective actions
• Assist with monthly closing, year-end closing, and audit processes
• Maintain proper inventory documentation and accounting records
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Previous experience in Inventory Accounting or Stock Accounting
Good knowledge of accounting software and ERP systems
Strong Microsoft Excel and reporting skills
Excellent attention to detail and analytical ability
Ability to manage work efficiently under pressure
Good communication and teamwork skills
