We are looking for an experienced and motivated Financial Manager / Chief Accountant to join our team in Hail. With more than 7 branches operating across Hail and Tabuk and a workforce of over 250 employees, we continue to expand our presence in the retail and FMCG sector while maintaining high standards in customer service and business operations.
We are seeking a finance professional who can confidently manage the company’s financial activities, support strategic business decisions, and ensure smooth day-to-day accounting operations across multiple branches. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Saudi Arabia’s retail or hypermarket industry and be capable of handling financial reporting, compliance, budgeting, and team management with accuracy and professionalism.
About the Role:
As a Financial Manager / Chief Accountant, you will play an important role in managing the financial health of the organization. You will oversee accounting operations, monitor branch financial performance, maintain compliance with Saudi financial regulations, and support management with detailed financial insights and reporting.
You will also work closely with different departments to improve operational efficiency, strengthen internal controls, and contribute to the company’s continued growth and expansion.
Main Responsibilities:
• Oversee all accounting and financial activities for multiple hypermarket branches
• Prepare monthly financial reports, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets
• Handle budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and cash flow management
• Ensure compliance with VAT regulations, ZATCA requirements, and Saudi accounting standards
• Monitor accounts payable, receivable, payroll, reconciliations, and ledger management
• Coordinate internal and external audits and maintain proper financial records
• Analyse financial data and provide recommendations to improve business performance
• Develop and implement accounting procedures and internal financial controls
• Supervise and support the accounting team to maintain accuracy and efficiency
• Manage inventory-related accounting and retail financial reporting
• Work with ERP systems including Odoo and support reporting through Power BI
• Collaborate with management and operational teams to support business objectives
Requirements:
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Financial Manager or Chief Accountant in Saudi Arabia
• Previous experience in hypermarket, retail, supermarket, FMCG, or trading companies preferred
• Strong understanding of Saudi VAT regulations and ZATCA compliance
• Fluency in both Arabic and English is mandatory
• Good knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Professional working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Experience using Odoo ERP system will be an advantage
• Familiarity with Power BI and financial reporting systems preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple financial tasks and meet deadlines efficiently
• M.Com or MBA in Finance required
• SOCPA registration preferred
