Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and responsible HSE Officer to join their team for power plant projects in the GCC. If you have a strong background in safety, the right certifications, and hands-on site experience, this could be a great next step in your career.
This role is ideal for those already working in HSE jobs in GCC, especially within power plants or heavy industrial environments.
About the Role
You’ll be responsible for making sure everything on site runs safely and follows proper health, safety, and environmental standards. From inspections to training, your role will be key in preventing risks and maintaining a safe working environment for everyone.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Carry out regular site inspections and safety checks
- Identify risks and make sure corrective actions are taken quickly
- Ensure all work is done according to safety rules and procedures
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety training for workers
- Monitor work permits such as hot work, confined space, and working at height
- Investigate incidents or near misses and prepare reports
- Make sure PPE is used properly at all times
- Work closely with engineers, supervisors, and site teams
- Keep all safety records and reports properly updated
What We’re Looking For
- Background in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
- Required certifications: NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, WPR
- At least 3 years of GCC experience in power plant or industrial safety (mandatory)
- Good understanding of site safety practices and risk management
- Ability to handle responsibilities independently and stay alert on site
- Strong communication and reporting skills
