This notice explains how JOBB GROUP FZE collects and uses personal data about job applicants and candidates. It supplements our Privacy Policy and applies when you apply for a role, send us your CV or take part in our recruitment process.
1. Data we collect
- Identity and contact details: name, email address, phone number and location
- Application details: CV, cover letter, portfolio, LinkedIn profile, work history, education and skills
- Information from the process: interview notes, assessment results and references, with your knowledge
- Right-to-work information, only if you receive an offer and only as required by UAE law
- Communications with you about your application
Please do not include sensitive personal data in your application (for example health, religion or family details) unless it is relevant and you choose to share it.
2. How we use it
- Assessing your suitability for the role you applied for
- Communicating with you about the process and arranging interviews
- Making and documenting hiring decisions
- Meeting legal obligations, such as employment and immigration requirements, if you are hired
- With your consent, considering you for other suitable roles
3. Legal basis
We process candidate data to take steps at your request before entering into an employment contract, to meet legal obligations, and, where stated in the application form, with your consent.
4. Who can access it
Your data is accessed only by people involved in the recruitment decision. CV files uploaded through our website are stored in a protected location that cannot be accessed publicly and can be downloaded only by authorised staff. We may use trusted service providers (such as email or hosting providers) under appropriate safeguards. We do not sell candidate data.
5. How long we keep it
If you are not hired, we keep your application for up to 12 months after the process closes so we can contact you about future opportunities, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. If you are hired, your data becomes part of your employee record.
6. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, withdraw consent, or object to processing at any time. Use our Data Subject Request page or email support@jobb.ae.
7. Automated decisions
We do not make hiring decisions based solely on automated processing.
