Job Description
We are urgently looking for an experienced Contract Engineer (Civil) to join the team. If you have solid GCC experience and enjoy handling contracts, project coordination, and commercial aspects of construction projects, this could be the right opportunity for you.
In this role, you’ll be actively involved in managing contracts from start to finish, making sure everything runs smoothly and aligns with project requirements. You’ll work closely with project managers, consultants, and clients, ensuring all contractual matters are handled professionally and efficiently.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Taking care of contract administration for ongoing civil projects
- Reviewing tender documents, BOQs, drawings, and specifications
- Managing contracts, subcontracts, and project agreements
- Handling variations, claims, and extension of time (EOT) requests
- Coordinating with project teams, consultants, and clients
- Making sure all work complies with UAE standards and contract terms
- Keeping proper records and documentation for all contract-related activities
- Supporting project and commercial teams when needed
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- At least 5 years of GCC experience in a similar role
- Good understanding of construction contracts and FIDIC conditions
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset
